Razer Switchblade is first to use Intel Atom Z690

Razer has just announced that it will be the first one to use the new Intel Atom Z690 1.7GHz with its concept portable gaming device, the Razer Switchblade.
First showcased back in January during CES 2011, the Razer Switchblade is a portable gaming device with a keyboard that shifts/transforms depending on the type of game you play. Watch the video below to see it in action.
The Switchblaze does seem like a dedicated gaming netbook of sorts (but of a different genetic make-up). The use of a single-core Intel Atom Z690 (the latest in the Intel Oaktrail family) is also a curious decision but there seems to be no other MID-class processor that could do the job. It could also mean it will be using the 400MHz embedded GPU that’s said to be able to do HD playback.
