I have a friend who would not open any of his newly-bought gadgets unless he has the screen protector and wrapped it with a case. One time, it took him over a month before he was able to use his new iPod Touch because there wasn’t any locally available case for it yet.
Apparently, the gadget case industry is a huge industry. Imagine the hundreds of millions of phones being sold every year? And that’s just phones — there are other devices like tablets, portable gaming devices and the likes. I reckon the industry generates at least $2 billion in revenues a year.
Anyway, got these new Case-Mate Safe Skin sent over to me last week. They’re your typical rubber case and thin-and-hard polymer cases to protect your newly bought HTC smartphones.

(I know the names sound like they’re selling something else.)
I actually liked my devices bare/naked so I can appreciate their design; the feeling of cold metal and the texture of the finish.
But if you’re the type (and I think most people are) who’s afraid to get their precious one get scratched, bumped or dented, then protective cases like these are a must.
If you’re still looking for a good deal on an HTC Sensation, check out this bundle from Top Electronics — a Case-Mate Safe Skin and Sensation for Php27k flat.
Let me end this with a little survey — do you like your precious gadgets naked or protected?
