Along with the announcement of Symbian Belle, Nokia also unveiled three new smartphones that has the said OS. One of which is the Nokia 600 which is geared towards music lovers and features an exceptionally strong set of speakers.
This entertainment smartphone boasts of really loud speakers rated at a window-rattling 106 phon. It also features a built-in FM transmitter so you can stream your music over your radio, like your old car stereo. It’s also one of the few phones available that has an internal antenna for its FM receiver so you don’t need to plug in your earphones just to listen to FM radio.
The Nokia 600 is powered by a 1GHz processor to run Symbian Belle. It also has a 3.2-inch touchscreen nHD or one-ninth of an HD display with a resolution of 640 x 360. A 2GB memory is present onboard with support for microSD of up to 32GB. A 5-megapixel full-focus camera is located at the back along with a LED flash and is capable of 720p video-recording.
Not yet much applications for NFC or near field communication but the Nokia 600 is capable of it. It includes Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja NFC games however.
No word yet on the exact date of availability and local pricing but this phone should land before December. It is priced at USD260 before taxes and subsidies so up to you to speculate how much it will go for when it arrives here.
