The Samsung GALAXY Nexus was going by a few different names before it was officially announced by Verizon. The DROID Prime, the Google Nexus Prime and the Samsung Galaxy Prime were some of the most often used titles for the phone. But by now, with the introduction of the Samsung GALAXY Nexus a day over a month old, even people with a passing interest in the latest smartphones has probably memorized the name of the model.
That makes it all the more strange that a company that has put precious resources behind increasing its share of the smartphone business, Best Buy, would distribute its latest flyer with the name of the phone incorrectly labeled as the Samsung Nexus Prime 4G LTE. Additionally, by showing the device next to the AT&T and Sprint variants of the Samsung Galaxy S II, it gives off the mistaken idea that the GALAXY Nexus is part of the Samsung Galaxy S II series, which it is not. At least they got the part about Android 4.0 powering the unit correct.
