Nokia lifted the veil today over an affordable trio of phones in a new Asha Touch line - this time they are all-touch, no keypad, unlike the existing Asha portfolio members.
The
Asha 305 and 306 are the cheapos of the bunch, at just $85 and $95
SIM-free, respectively, which is indeed truly affordable for even
emerging markets or teens' budgets, which are the target market anyway.
They both sport a 3" WQVGA resistive display, 1GHz processor, 2MP cameras, and GPRS/EDGE radio. The Easy Swap dual-SIM
slots are what sets the Asha 305 apart, while the Asha 306 adds Wi-Fi
connectivity to the mix, for Nokia's cheapest Wi-Fi handset to date.
