Along with the launch of the dual-SIM Desire V, HTC also outs their
most affordable Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich phone in the market, the HTC Desire C.
This little phone doesn’t have the specs to amaze you but HTC made this
for those who wants to get their toes wet with Android without over
committing on the budget.
The HTC Desire C, as the name implies, stems from the Desire line
with that familiar curves and design. It looks like a shrunken HTC
Desire V that should fit comfortably in your pocket.
It will effectively replace last year’s HTC Wildfire S
with both having a lowly 600MHz processor and a 512MB RAM. However, the
HTC Desire C gets Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC Sense 4.0 UI
on top of it. It also has a bigger 3.5-inch screen with 16million
colors, a more spacious 4GB internal storage, and a 5-megapixel camera.
Not to mention you will also be getting Beats Audio enhancement on this
phone if that’s your thing.
Being an entry-level phone from HTC, you will be getting more colors
to choose from with the Desire C — Polar White, Stealth Black, and
Flamenco Red. It is now available in HTC shops and authorized resellers
with an SRP of Php10,990, which I personally think is just right for its specs.
