A couple of weeks ago, we told you about the Sony Xperia V. At the time, pricing and a launch date were both unknown
for the water resistant phone with the 4.3 inch, 720p HD screen. What
we did know was that in addition to offering some protection from the
elements, the phone would be equipped with LTE connectivity and a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor.
There was also talk about the "sensor-on-lens" technology on its
screen, leading to a thinner display like the in-cell screen on the Apple iPhone 5. It brings a fuller touch experience and one less layer of glass making the display thinner and lighter.
The Sony Xperia V is up for pre-order at Dustin.de

Thanks
to a Swedish retailer, Dustin.de, we now have more information on when
we might expect to see the Sony Xperia V shipped and the price that it
might sell for. The retailer is accepting pre-orders of the phone at a
price of 4,299 Kroner ($655 USD). The phone is expected to ship on December 3rd.
If that date is correct, that two month wait for the phone is going to
feel like forever to those reserving the device. There will be plenty of
temptation from other Android models (LG Optimus G,anyone?) not to forget competition from the suddenly litigious Windows Phone 8 manufacturers.
