BlackBerry Bold 9900, Torch 9810 and Torch 9860 are now official

The upcoming upgraded BlackBerry smartphones have been officially announced by Research In Motion. There’s the Bold 9900 which we already talked about a couple of months ago. The upgraded Torch 9810. And finally an upgrade to their Storm, which was originally called Storm 3 but is now confusingly named Torch 9860.
All of these new phones will have a 1.2GHz processor which is already quite a leap for BlackBerry phones. It will power the latest BlackBerry OS7 which RIM claims is 40 percent faster at browsing compared to OS6 smartphones, and 100 percent faster than OS5 ones. They will also be using a dedicated graphics processor to support RIM’s Liquid Graphics technology for a smoother and faster experience. Yeah, these new BlackBerry phones are definitely awesome.
The BlackBerry Torch 9810 or Torch 2 still combines the touchscreen and a sliding portrait keyboard of the previous Torch. It has 253 dpi 3.2-inch screen, 1.2 GHz processor,  and an NFC chip. It will have a 5 megapixel camera that can do 720p HD video recording.
The BlackBerry Torch 9860 is more like the Storm 3 with its large 3.7-inch touchscreen display and a WSVGA (800×480) resolution . This all-touch Torch is made for the BlackBerry’s multimedia fans out there with a display optimized for displaying web pages, photos, videos, and powerful gaming experiences. It also has 5 MP camera with autofocus and 720p video recording.
If all three phones will be arriving at the same time, we can expect them to land here well before the holidays.
