Did you know that not all BlackBerry have the QWERTY keyboard that made them popular? Did you know there’s a BlackBerry that has an alphanumeric keypad? It’s called the BlackBerry Pearl 9105.
The BlackBerry Pearl 3G is not a new device, in fact it was already released last year and can already be found in our gray market. It’s just now that RIM decided to bring it here officially after finding out that there are people who wants to join the BBM craze but with a preference to the old and trusty alphanumeric keypad. With the Pearl 3G getting official, it is also subject to the same 2-year warranty as other BlackBerry phones bought from authorized resellers.
So if you want your dad or mom to get into BlackBerry Messaging but they’re very much used to and comfortable with their old Nokia phones, get them a BlackBerry Pearl 3G instead. Too bad there’s only one color of this one here. Maybe if a lot of people wants it they would introduce the other colors.
