Rock-solid Otterbox cases and some give-aways

Met with the folks from TenkieBox, the official distributor of OtterBox, last week when they gave me a couple of their really tough cases for my new iPhone 4S.
The one I am using now is the Otterbox Defender which is the toughest and most rugged-looking of their line-up.
The Defender is composed of three piece assembly that wraps the phone very tightly. See eash piece being assembled below.
The inner case is made of two pieces of really hard plastic and wrapped with a tough rubber outer case.
The result — an almost, military-grade package that can withstand a lot of beating. I’ve actually tried dropping my iPhone 4S many times of hard surfaces and tile floors without worry of breaking my unit (frankly though, I almost broke a sweat or two after the 4th attempt).
This set-up is really ideal when you’re in rugged conditions or traveling on vacations. I’ve tried mounting it on my mountain bike but didn’t really use it on the trail because I was more afraid of the mud and water seeping into my iPhone rather than the rocky ground.
The retail prices aren’t that bad either. You can check out the entire line-up on their website or add them on Facebook and Twitter.
Here’s a small treat to our YugaTech readers from our friends over at TenkiBox. We’re giving away three of the Otterbox cases to any of your phones — one from each series (Defender, Communter and Reflex series).
Here’s what you need to do — complete this sentence:
I want an Otterbox Commuter for my BlackBerry Bold 9900. Go get one for your phone over at YugaTech — http://yugatech.ph/otterboxgiveaway
You need to pick the exact series you want for your phone (Defender, Commuter or Reflex). Check out this page to see which one you like most.
Post your entry on Twitter, FB, Google+, Plurk, Tumblr or your blog. Leave a comment below with the link to your entry. We’ll pick the winners when I get back from Malaysia on the 19th.
Don’t forget to add them on Facebook and Twitter and send them thanks for this early Christmas treat.
