Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX10V
Other than the the high-end HX200V and mid-range HX20V and HX30V, Sony will also release in March the more affordable DSC-HX10V and DSC-H90 long zoom cameras. They are equipped with 16x optical zoom lens, and the HX10V includes Clear Image Zoom technology to extend zoom range to up to 40x. The HX10V packs 18.2 Megapixel Exmor R CMOS image sensor and BIONZ image processor, while the H90 gets 16.1 Megapixel Super HAD CCD sensor.

The Cyber-shot HX10V, replacing the HX9V, features most features found on other new HX models, including super fast AF, Optical SteadyShot with Active Mode, Extra High Sensitivity, Photo Creativity, Background Defocus, 3D Still Image and 3D Sweep Panorama mode, 10fps shooting, Superior Auto mode and 9 Picture Effects. It supports Full HD 1080 1080/60i AVCHD video recording and the Dual-Record function lets you capture 13 Megapixel still images while video shooting. Built-in GPS and compass will record location data of images and log photographic journey. It has a 3-inch Xtra Fine LCD display. The H90 is an entry-level model featuring Optical SteadyShot and 720p HD video recording.
Both Cyber-shot cameras provide Intelligent Auto Mode, Smile Shutter, Anti-blink, Soft Skin mode, Intelligent Scene Recognition Mode, Face Detection and Natural Flash functions. The HX10V will cme in white, silver, black and red for $329 (pre-order at Amazon) and the H90 in silver, black and red for $249.00.
