FujiFilm introduces its M-Mount adapter for its X-Pro1
interchangeable lens digital camera system. With this adapter, users
can now use Leica M-mount lenses on their X-Pro1. It has a three-piece
aluminum and stainless steel construction, and a 27.8mm lens mount to
sensor distance.
The M-Mount adapter has electronic connections to send information to X-Pro1 body and there is a Function button to activate M-Mount Adapter Setting menu, which allows users to fine tune lens profiles. Other than the four pre-sets for Leica 21mm, 24mm, 28mm and 35mm lenses, there are two optional profile settings for additional optics. It is compatible with Hybrid Multi Viewfinder.
FujiFilm’s M-Mount adapter will be available in June 2012 for $199.99.
