Logitech Broadcaster WiFi Webcam for Mac ,iPhone and iPad

Logitech introduces the Broadcaster WiFi webcam made for video professionals, bloggers and hobbyists. Designed for users to share their passions and interests with the world, the webcam is able to instantly stream live video to UStream with a simple press of a button. Users can also use the Broadcaster app on Mac, iPad or iPhone to control and preview the video, manage the broadcast, post announcements on Facebook and Twitter, and interact with viewers in real time.




Logitech’s Broadcaster WiFi Webcam is capable of HD 720p video capture and includes Fluid Crystal Technology for enhanced image quality and WiFi 802.11n high-speed internet connection for smooth video streaming. It also features 3x digital zoom, digital pan/tilt and built-in illumination lamp, and uses H.264 video compression. You can also use the Broadcaster as a second camera by pairing it with your Mac’s built-in camera using the Broadcaster app for recording two different views at the same time. You can then use iMovie or Final Cut Pro to edit and stitch together the two recordings. The WiFi webcam can also add a second point of view to Skype video calls. It also works with QuickTime, PhotoBooth, FaceTime and iChat.

Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 60mm f2.8 Dust-splash-proof Macro lens

Olympus brings a new member to its Micro Four Thirds family of lenses, the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 60mm f2.8 with a dust-and-splash-proof body for shooting in a wide range of conditions, including in the rain or near the water. The lens features close-up capability with 1x magnification and a focusing distance of 19cm,

The new M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 60mm f2.8 lens sports 13 lens elements in 10 groups of lenses and use special glass materials such as ED (Extra-low Dispersion), HR (High Refractive index) and E-HR (Extra-High Refractive index) elements to eliminate the chromatic aberrationstelephoto macro lenses. It utilizes Olympus’ MSC (Movie & Still Compatible) autofocusing mechanism with an inner focus system to drive quick and quiet focusing. There is a focus limit switch to set the focusing range for faster focusing.

Three modes are available, including close-up (focusing distance between 19 and 40 cm), normal (focusing distance from 19 cm to infinity) and far view (focusing distance from 40 cm to infinity). The 1:1 mode shifts focusing to 1:1 with one-touch operation.

The macro lens will be released in early October for $499.99 and Olympus will also release the optional LH-49 Lens Hood to block harmful rays of light. The firm will also launch the Limited Black Edition M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12mm f2.0 lens for $1099.99.

JVC ADIXXION GC-XA1 Quad-proof Rugged Action Camera

JVC introduces in the UK the ADIXXION GC-XA1, a quad-proof rugged action camera. With a heavy-duty design for use without housing, the camera is quad-proof -waterproof to a depth of 5m (16.4 ft), shockproof to withstand a fall from 2m (6.5ft) high, dustproof and freezeproof. It also has a scratch-resistant rubber texture.


The ADIXXION is equipped with a 5 Megapixel CMOS image sensor and a super wide angle lens. It is capable of Full HD 1920×1080/30p recording, and capturing 5 Megapixel still images. The built-in WiFi connectivity allows you to transfer images to computer wirelessly, and even stream “live” HD videos in realtime to USTREAM without a PC. JVC’s action camera has 5x digital zoom and digital image stabilizer, and supports Time-Lapse REC to record a frame at a time at intervals of 1 or 5 seconds. It has a HDMI output so you can bring HD video to a HDTV  for sharing with family and friend. It uses SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card for storage.

As a action camera, the ADIXXION GC-XA1 comes with a goggle mount for attaching to goggle strap with supplied screws. a flexible mount that adheres to flat or curved surface with supplied 3M double-sided tape, two lens protectors and a LCD protection film to prevent the 1.5-inch LCD display for scratches. The Wi-Video PC software is included with the camera, and Android and iOS apps are also available for use with the action camera.

Canon EOS Rebel T4i / 650D Digital SLR Camera

Canon introduces the new flagship model in its EOS Rebel line, the EOS Rebel T4i (known as EOS 650D in Europe and Asia markets) digital SLR camera. The new camera is equipped with 18 Megapixel APS-C CMOS image sensor and features a nine-point all cross-type sensor array, and new Hybrid CMOS AF to deliver fast focus. Equipped with DIGIC 5 image processor, the new Rebel is capable of high-speed continuous shooting at 5fps and offers an extended ISO range of 100-12800 (expandable to 25600 in H mode).


The Rebel T4i gets the nine-point all cross-type AF array – that can found on the 60D- with a dual-cross f/2.8 point at center. It is the first Canon camera to include the new Hybrid CMOS AF system for increased auto focus speed and fast continuous AF in Live View. Canon also adds the new Movie Servo AF to the T4i for smooth and quiet continuous AF while recording video when used with new EF and EFS STM lenses. It is capable of Full movie recording at up to 30fps and comes built-in stereo microphone for clear sound recording.

Also included are features to help beginner photographers, including Handheld Night Scene, HDR backlight control, Multi-shot Noise Reduction, Video Snapshot, Scene Intelligent Auto. The first three shooting modes will take multiple pictures and combine them to produce a photo with wide dynamic range and minimized noise. The Rebel T4i is also Canon’s first EOS DSLR to have touchscreen. Other than reviewing photos and LiveView, the 3-inch touchscreen display also allows for Touch Focus and Touch Shutter controls.

Along with the Rebel T4i / 650D DSLR, Canon also brings two new lenses, the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens and EF 40mm f/2.8 STM lens, both with Canon’s Stepping Motor technology, which allows the lenses to smoothly and silently focus. The former gets Dynamic IS (Movie Shooting Mode only) while the latter is a ultra-slim and lightweight pancake-style lens with an aperture of f/2.8.

Sony Alpha NEX-F3 Mirrorless Camera with DSLR-Size Sensor

In addition to the bigger-sized SLT-A37, Sony also expands the Alpha NEX line with the new NEX-F3 mirrorless interchangeable lens camera. The new compact E-mount camera is equipped with a 16.1 Megapixel Exmor APS HD CMOS image sensor, that same size as the sensor used in traditional DSLR cameras. It sports the BIONZ image processor with chroma noise reduction to deliver low-noise photos. The camera has ISO 200-16,000 for shooting in low-light situations.


The NEX-F3 supports up to 5.5fps continuous shooting and Full HD 1080/60i or 24p video recording. It features Enhanced Tracking Focus, iAUTO (Intelligent Auto) mode, 25-point Auto Focus, Auto Portrait Framing, Clear Image Zoom that doubles the focal length of the lens with By Pixel Super Resolution Technology, Background Defocus, Smile Shutter and Face Detection, Auto HDR, Dynamic Range Optimizer, Anti-Motion Blur mode as well as 3D Sweep Panorama mode. The camera comes with a 180° tiltable 3-inch Xtra Fine LCD screen and built-in flash. It includes Anti-Dust technology to keep the CMOS sensor clean.

11 types of Picture Effects and 6 Creative Style settings are available for users to personalize their photos. The HDMI output lets users to show photos and videos on a big screen. The F3 supports Memory Stick PRO-Duo/Pro-HD Duo, and SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards. Other than E-mount lenses, the NEX camera also accpets A-mount lenses using the optional LA-EA1 or LA-EA2 adapter. Sony’s NEX-F3 is available in silver, black and white with 18-55mm kit zoom lens (model SEL1855) for $599.

Sony SEL18200LE E18-200mm F3.5-6.3 OSS LE

For NEX users who need a telephoto zoom lens, Sony brings you the new SEL18200LE E18-200mm F3.5-6.3 OSS LE with 11x zoom range, Optical SteadyShot stabilization and Direct Manual Focus. The lens is priced at $849.99.

Sony Alpha SLT-A37 Entry-level DSLR Camera

Sony introduces the new Alpha SLT-A37, an entry-level DSLR camera with Sony’s Translucent Mirror Technology that allows fast shooting, non-stop phase detection autofocus and continuous live image preview. The camera sports a 16 Megapixel Exmor APD HD CMOS image sensor and BIONZ image processor. It features a 3-cross 15-point AF system with tracking autofocus to keep faces and fast moving subject in sharp focus. The Translucent Mirror technology also enables the A35 to capture split-second action with up to 7fps burst shooting.


The SteadyShot INSIDE stabilization is included reduce effect of camera shake, and there is also Clear Image Zoom with Pixel Super Resolution Technology that can doubles effective focal length by magnifying the center of your image while maintaining full pixel count. The camera features 100-16,000 ISO, Auto Portrait Framing, Superior Auto mode, Face Detection, Smile Shutter, 3D Sweep Panorama mode, built-in Auto HDR, RAW support and Six Creative Style settings. Along with the camera, Sony also brings the new SAL18135 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 telephoto zoom with about 8x zoom range. According to Sony, the lens’ SAM design assures smooth, rapid, whisper-quiet autofocus operation and Direct Manual Focus for accurate fine-tuning of focus. The lens will be available in July for $499.99. It will also be offered as kit lens with Sony A-mount cameras:

FujiFilm M-Mount Adapter for X-Pro1

FujiFilm introduces its M-Mount adapter for its X-Pro1 interchangeable lens digital camera system. With this adapter, users can now use Leica M-mount lenses on their X-Pro1. It has a three-piece aluminum and stainless steel construction, and a 27.8mm lens mount to sensor distance.

The M-Mount adapter has electronic connections to send information to X-Pro1 body and there is a Function button to activate M-Mount Adapter Setting menu, which allows users to fine tune lens profiles. Other than the four pre-sets for Leica 21mm, 24mm, 28mm and 35mm lenses, there are two optional profile settings for additional optics. It is compatible with Hybrid Multi Viewfinder.

FujiFilm’s M-Mount adapter will be available in June 2012 for $199.99.

Leica M MONOCHROM Black-and-White Camera

In the digital photography age, it is hard to believe any camera maker will build a black-and-white camera. But Leica did it. The famous camera company has introduced its new M MONOCHROM, a digital camera exclusively for full-frame, 35mm black-and-white photography. The camera is the latest addition to Leica’s M System. It is equipped with 18 Megapixel a black-and-white sensor, and according to Leica, “as the sensor does not ‘see’ colors, every pixel records true luminance values, thus it delivers ‘true’ black-and-white images that are significantly sharper than comparable exposures from a camera with a color-sensitive sensor.”

The M MONOCHROM offers ISO sensitivity up to 10,000. It sports a 2.5-inch color LCD and a rangefinder-type optical viewfinder. It offers a complete image control. With a raw data histogram display to exhibit original, unprocessed and unmodified raw data, the camera allows precise control of tonal value. Combing this with a configurable clipping display, users can have precise correction or optimization of exposures. At the touch of a button, images captured by the M Monochrom can be converted with characteristic toning effects from black-and-white film photography (sepia, cold or selenium toning).

The Leica M MONOCHROm comes with a iconic classic design and as an one-piece, full-metal housing made from magnesium alloy, with top deck and bottom plate machined from solid brass blanks. Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and ilver Efex Pro 2 full version are included with the camera. Also announced is the Leica APO-SUMMICRON-M 50 MM F/2 ASPH lens.
