Pioneer introduces two new Elite branded audiophile network audio players, the N-30 and the N-50 both support network connection, AirPlay and DLNA 1.5 for enjoying music wirelessly on your home audio system. The two new players connects to your home network via Ethernet LAN connection or WiFi via the optional AS-WL300 wireless adapter. Once connected, the N-30 and N-50 not only can stream music wirelessly from your computer, NAS server, media server; they can also access to thousands of Internet radio stations and a variety of online music services. With AirPlay support, they also stream music from iPhone, iPod or iPod.
The N-30 and N-50 support MP3, AAC, WMA, WAV, Ogg Vorbis or FLAC music files. They have 2.5-inch full-color LCD display and can be used with iPhone and Android control apps. The N-50, as the higher-end model, features twin EL transformers to reduce interference and a Hi-Bit 32-Bit conversion processor for better audio output; the Advanced Sound Retriever and Sound Retriever AIR that enhance the audio quality of compressed audio files; an armored chassis to resist noise and gold RCA jacks for better audio connections.
In addition to Ethernet LAN and optional WiFi connectivity, these Elite audio players can also connect to Bluetooth-enabled audio sources using the optional AS-BT200 Bluetooth adapter. There are also USB port for direct connection with media devices. The Pioneer Elite N-30 is priced at $499 and the Elite N-50 at $699.
