For those of us runing the 3GS jailbroken and carrier unlocked, it is
quite likely you are running a reflashed version of the os with the iPad
baseband. This is great since it lets you use the phone, but has a few
problems, namely terrible mobile data battery life and a sudden lack of
GPS. Wait no longer. It has been fixed (finally) and works totally fine.
It’s not that hard a fix, either: just a quick download, reflash and
hey, presto! all the functions are back where they should be. If you
