The Android version of the popular multi-platform messenger IM+ has been
updated, and it isn't your usual bug-squasher we are talking about.
Version 6.3 of IM+ comes with "significantly improved battery usage" and
adds support for four new messaging platforms. You can also queue
messages when offline, which will be sent to their recipients as soon as
you are connected to the internet again.
For those
of you not familiar, IM+ is an app that allows you to sign in to
multiple messaging platforms without the need to run separate clients
for each one of them. Think using Skype, MSN Messenger, Yahoo!
Messenger, Facebook Chat, and Google Talk from within the same
application. Over 15 messaging platforms are supported in the current
version, which is available for free, or in a premium flavor for $4.99.
