Technology has made it extremely easy for us to post information about ourselves online through a multitude of social media networks without even thinking of the security implications. But the fact of the matter is many of the information you post online can be used against you in a multitude of ways, with the end result of you losing access to your favorite social network, or worse – being a victim of identity theft or online fraud. Case in point: 63% of people share when exactly their birthday is publicly, a question which if you forget, usually ends up as the default question on security resets for credit cards and other important things.
