Virgin Mobile adjusts rates, raising some and dropping others

A screenshot has appeared, appearing to show the new revised price schedule for Virgin Mobile. Those paying for 300 minutes of talk a month will see their monthly rate rise $10 to $35 a month while the 1200 minute plan is bumped up $5 monthly to $45. Both of those plans include unlimited web, text and email. Unlimited 'everything' including calls, is actually cut $5 a month to $55.

There is some good news for Virgin users of BlackBerry models (Virgin Mobile, that is) as the pre-paid carrier is removing the special $10 charge that 'Berry users had to pay per month. The revised pricing will take effect sometime this month although no specific date was announced.
