Gigabyte is the latest company to announce a laptop using Intel’s
Ultrabook platform with the launch of the Gigabyte U2442 Ultrabook, and
there will be two different models available the U2442V and U2442N.
Both
models come with a 14 inch HD+ LED backlit display with a resolution of
1600 x 900 pixels and there is a choice of Intel’s latest Core i5 and i7 processors.
Other specifications on the new Gigabyte U2442 Ultrabooks include NVIDIA Geforce GT ^40M graphics with 2GB of VRAM, and a choice of solid state drives (SSD) of hard drives up to a maximum of 1000GB.
Both
models also feature backlit keyboards,USB 3.0, Bluetooth 4.0, optional
Thunderbolt and Wi-Fi, plus each one measure just 20.5mm thick and weigh
in at 1.5KG, there are no details on pricing or availability as yet.
