VMware, Inc. (NYSE: VMW), the global leader in virtualization and cloud infrastructure, today announced the opening of an office in the Philippines. Located in Metro Manila, the Philippines office is testament to the strength of VMware’s growth in the Southeast Asia region.
Virtualization and cloud computing adoption is forecasted to grow over the next few years as businesses realize the cost-savings and server consolidation benefits of cloud computing. According to Forrester, cloud computing adoption is strongest in Australia, New Zealand and in theAssociation of Southeast Asia Nations (ASEAN).
