iRobot introduces the new Scooba 390 floor washing robot. The robot uses four-stage cleaning process to prep, wash, scrub and squeegee the floors. You don’t have to sweep the floor, as the Scooba 390 will preps your floor, vacuuming up loose crumbs, sand and dirt. According to the company, the four-stage process can remove up to 98% of common household bacteria. The robot can clean tile, linoleum and sealed hardwood floors.
The Scooba 390 uses te iAdapt Responsive Cleaning Technology for effective cleaning and thorough floor coverage. It comes with a wide cleaning head, which is ideal for cleaning kitchens and large areas; and there two tanks inside the robot to separate clean and dirty water.. A virtual wall is included so the robot cleans only the area you want. The Scooba 390 covers up to 450 square feet per cleaning.
iRobot’s Scooba 390 floor cleaning robot is priced at $499.99. iRobot is also launching the Scooba 230 in more countries. The Scooba 230 uses a three-stage cleaning process – washes, scrubs and squeegees the floor – to get rid of dirt and bacteria.
