Japanese gadget maker Thanko launches a palm-sized video camera that comes in the shape of a DSLR camera. Equipped with a 1 Megapixel CMOS sensor, the ultra small camcorder can capture up to 12 Megapixel still images, and up to 1280x720p HD videos at 30fps. It has a 1.5-inch 480×240 LCD display on the back.
The Thanko SUSMDLC1 uses microSD for storage and supports up to 64GB cards. A 4GB can store up to 30 minutes of video footage. The DSLR-like camcorder will come with a car mount. The Thanko SUSMDLC1 is priced at 9980 Yen.
