Yesterday, LG unveiled some of their 2012 home appliance series that are eco-friendly, energy-efficient and promotes healthy living.
One of their new products that piqued my interest was their latest washer (it’s either this, the ref or the air-conditioner) which features a new type of motor called Inverter Direct Drive. Conventional washer uses a belt and pulley motor which is prone to eventual breakdowns, noise and consumes more power.
The Inverter Direct Drive motor is much simpler. It’s elegant, has few moving parts so it’s resistible to breakdowns, less noise level and delivers sizable energy savings. On top of that, LG is including a 10 year warranty for the washer.
Anyway, the new motor is not what I was fascinated about. It’s their dynamic six motion cycle feature which is a world’s first. Applying six different motion cycles on your laundry is like having a person handwash them for you.
Unique to the frontload is the Baby Care Program designed for laundry delicates that need the utmost care. Another neat element of the new LG frontload washer is Smart Diagnosis allowing customers to diagnose machine problems with the use of one’s cell phone or landline.
If you’re in the market for a washer, do check out these new LG washers which comes in frontload and topload models and are equipped with Inverter Direct Drive System.
