First off, the phone is said to sport the new 13MP "stacked" camera sensor from Sony that we told you about in January,
improving low-light performance, and introducing the "HDR Video"
function, a sample of which you can see in the Sony promo video about
the sensor, embedded below.
The
rest of the specs will make you salivate too, as the LT29i Hayabusa is
to come with a 4.55" HD Reality Display, and be powered by a 1.5GHz
dual-core Snapdragon S4 chipset, by which we were very pleasantly
surprised in our HTC One S review. The phone is pegged to be just 7mm thin, yet pack a generous 2200mAh battery, potentially making it the best phone Sony has created so far.
As
can be seen in the leaked picture of the handset's prototype on the
right, it is likely going to be all-display at the front, and feature
just the on-screen buttons of Android Ice Cream Sandwich for navigation.
That's in line with what we heard about the Hayabusa handset last month, too.
The best part - AT&T will seemingly be receiving this puppy as the LT28at
- to lounge about on its LTE network, and you can see a few leaked
sample shots below for a ballpark estimate of the new 13MP Sony camera's
capabilities.
