With the help of Rapture Gaming Network, Pinoy Gaming Festival launched its summer gathering entitled Pinoy Gaming Festival Summer Assembly last May 5 and 6 at the SM North Edsa Cyberzone. This event is in preparation for one of the biggest gathering of e-sports here in the Philippines, the Pinoy Gaming Festival.
Summer got hotter in Day 1 as Enderr, Jabito, Blazer and WaningMoon
faced each other at the elimination games of StarCraft 2. Dreamz,
Mineski, Duskbin 2, and ex-Mineski, Responsible Gaming went all out to
defend their ancients in Dota 2. And with 12 schools participating in
the first ever National Cyber Collegiate League (NCCL) this is surely a major step in the e-sports industry here, in our country.
Gameclub’s CrossFire Pride of Champions league impressed fans with a
number of freebies. This event was just a sneak peak to the PGF 2012
which is going to be held around later this year, during the “Ber”
months.
