Samsung recently introduced a monitor that will help you organize your workspace by decluttering cables and providing you with extra USB slots built-in on the monitor.
The Samsung Central Station C23A750X is not just your ordinary 23″ LED monitor. It has a docking base that acts as a central hub for all your devices. Imagine this scenario, whenever you bring your laptop back to your workspace, you connect all sorts of devices back to it: monitor, mouse, keyboard, external drive, etc.. And when you prepare to bring your laptop somewhere else, you will be leaving dangling cables alll over your desk.
What if your monitor can take the burden of connecting and disconnecting those devices for you? That’s what the Samsung Central Station monitor does. It has USB ports where you can connect your keyboard, mouse, disk drives and it even has a LAN port to connect to your network. What you need to connect to your laptop is the small wireless USB adapter, so that when you wish to use your devices with your laptop or all you need to do is bring it close to the monitor. And when you want to disconnect, simply walk away.
The Central Station also has USB 3.0 ports for faster file transfer. With the LAN port, your external drives connected to it can also act as a networked file storage. Then you can also use the USB ports as a charger for your phones or iPod even when the monitor is turned off. It has an audio out by the way so go ahead and plug your speakers onto it.
This 23-inch LED monitor comes with the usual features as other Samsung monitors. It has a 1920 x 1080 resolution, a mega dynamic contrast ratio, a wide 170°/160° Viewing Angle and Samsung’s MagicColor, MagicAngle, MagicBright Picture Controls.
The Samsung Central Station C23A750X monitor, which will be available in August, will retail for Php19,990 and comes with a 3-year standard warranty.
