Asus ET2220 series All-in-one PC with 10-point Multitouch Display

Asus announced the ET2220 series of all-in-one PC with optional 10-point multitouch display optimized for Windows 8 experience. The 21.5-inch AIO has a unique space-saving photo-frame inspired design and can be tilted from 16° to 45° for an ergonomic viewing position. Its silver stand can also be used as a carrying handle.

The ET2220 is powered by choice of Intel Ivy Bridge Core i5-3330, Core i3-3220, Sandy Bridge or Pentium G645 processor. The INTI and INKI models will get NVIDIA’s GeForce GT610M 1GB graphics card while the IUTI and IUKI models packs only integrated Intel HD graphics. All models will have up to 8GB of DDR3RAM, up to 2TB hard drive and a tray-in DVD SuperMulti burner or Blu-ray combo optical drive.

The 21.5-inch display has Full HD 1920×1080 resolution and LED-backlit. Only INTI and IUTI will come with 10-point capacitive multitouch capability. Other features include HDMI in, HDMI out, SD/SDHC card reader, USB 3.0 connector as well as  two built-in 5W stereo speakers with SonicMaster Technology for optimized audio. The ET2220 is VESA-mount compatible.

PNY XLR8 and XLR8 PRO Solid State Drives

PNY launches the XLR8 and XLR8 PRO series of solid state drives. Based on MLC NAND flash, PNY’s new SSDs are powered by SandForce’s 2281 controller. These 2.5-inch SSDs use SATA III 6Gbps interface and support 128-bit AES encryption.

The XLR8 models offers up to 500MB/s read and 450MB/s write speeds, while the XLR8 PRO models are even faster at 550MB/s read and 520MB/s write. They support S.M.A.R.T drive monitoring and TRIM command. Both lines are available in 120GB, 240GB and 480GB capacities.

Netgear Centria WNDR4700 and WNDR4720 High-speed Routers with Automatic Backup

Netgear launches its Centria line of high-speed routers with automatic backup for PC and Mac. Two models has been released, the WNDR4700 is storage-ready with an internal drive bay for you to add your own hard drive, and the WNDR4720 equipped with an internal 2TB hard drive. Basically, the Centrias are router+NAS combos packing high-performance dual-band WiFi routers and internal hard drive for data backup and storage. The drives can also be used to store and share files over the home network, and you can upgrade the drive easily by yourself.

The WNDR4700 and WNDR4720 both support simultaneous dual band (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) technology to deliver a combined 900Mbps WiFi speeds, extended WiFi range and coverage and smooth HD streaming and online gaming. With internal drive, they work with NETGEAR ReadySHARE Vault for Windows PC and Time Machine for Mac for automatic wireless data backup. They have two USB 3.0 SuperSpeed ports for adding external drive for more storage space and sharing printers. Rapoo lands in the Philippines, brings along sexy wireless E9080 keyboard

Rapoo, the leading Chinese wireless peripheral maker has landed in the Philippines, and has brought along its thin and sexy wireless E9080 keyboard with it. MSI Wind Top AE2281 and AE2281G All-in-One PCs

MSI announced its new Wind Top AE2281 and AE2281G all-in-one desktop PCs. The 21.5-inch PCs are powered by Intel’s Ivy Bridge 3rd gen Core i5-3450S processor and 4GB of RAM (max 8GB). The AE2281 uses the integrated Intel HD2500 graphics, while the AE2281G comes equipped with NVIDIA GeForce GT630M graphics card with up to 2GB of video memory. The new Wind Top’s 21.5-inch screen has Full HD 1920×1080 resolution and power-saving LED-backlight.

The AE2281 and AE2281G come with 500GB 7200RPM hard drive and a DVD SuperMulti burner, as well as a 6-in-1 card reader. It has a 1.3 Megapixel webcam and 3Wx2 5.1-channel speakers with THX TRUSTUDIO PRO sound enhancement. There are two USB 3.0 ports with one of them supports Super Charger for charging USB-powered devices without turning on the PC, and one HDMI out, one HDMI input jacks. Both WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Ethernet LAN are available. You can also add TV tuner using the PCIe interface.

With Smart Media Link, AE2281 and AE2281G can share media content with their tablet, laptop, TV or other mobile devices via DLNA. The Smart Sync, on the other hand, syncs Outlook contacts, calendars, as well as photos, music, documents, bookmarks and other data on your computers to the cloud.

Shuttle XPC XS35GTA V3 Slim PC gets Radeon HD7410M Graphics

Shuttle launches in Europe the XS35GTA V3, the latest addition to the XS35 series. The slim barebone PC is equipped with Intel’s dual-core Atom D2700 processor and dedicated AMD Readeon HD7410M graphics card, and supports up to 4GB of RAM with two SO-DIMM slots. Along with the XS35GTA V3, Shuttle will also release the XS35 V3 with integrated Intel GMA3650 graphics


At 36mm thin, both slim barebone PCs can accomodate a 2.5-inch SATA SSD/HDD drive or one slimline drive. They support Gigabit Ethernet LAN and WiFi connectivity, and offers a 4-in-1 card reader, five USB 2.0 ports, VGA output, and HDMI 1.3 output. Using the optional PHD2 adapter, users can add a second 2.5-inch drive instead of slimline optical drive.

The XPC XS35GTA and XS35 V3 have a fanless design for quiet operation. The former is priced at Euro 172 and the latter at Euro 233.

Sony NSZ-GS7 Google TV Internet Player available for Pre-order

Introduced back in January at the CES 2012, Sony’s NSZ-GS7 Google TV Internet Player will be released on 22 July and is now available for pre-order. Running Google TV, the set-top box offers instant access to shows on live TV and streaming content. Users can use the pre-loaded TV & Movies, Netflix, Pandora apps to find contents they want easily. It also offers access to Google Play store for more apps and content. Of course, it can also play media from 8GB internal storage and USB storage devices using the two USB ports.


The NSZ-GS7 is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. It comes with Chrome web browser with Flash player and has Google search built-in. The player supports common media formats, including MKV/H.264, MPEG4/H.264 AVC, FLV, Xvid, ACC, MP3, WMA. For connectivity, it offers Ethernet LAN port and WiFi 802.11g/b/n. It provides HDMI output and supports Dolby Digital Plus.

Sony’s Google TV box comes with a remote control with large touchpad on one side and a backlit QWERTY keyboard on the other. The remote also sports 3-Axis motion sensor for gaming.

Sony NSZ-GS7 is priced at $199.99. Sony will also release the unit in United Kingdom in July, followed later by Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Netherlands, Brazil, and Mexico.

Lenovo IdeaCentre A720 Touchscreen All-in-One PC Folds Flat

Lenovo releases its IdeaCentre A720, which is the world’s slimmest 27-inch all-in-one PC. The A720 comes with a slim, sleek and special design. With a display mount that can be adjusted across a wide range from -5 degrees to 90 degress, not only you can adjust for most comfortable angle, you can even fold the screen completely flat, turning it into a huge tablet. It comes with a 27-inch 1920×1080 Full HD touchscreen with 10-point multitouch, combined with huge tilting range, offering a new experience to interact with computer.


The IdeaCentre A720 comes in three models and all of them are powered by Intel’s Ivy Bridge 3rd gen Core i7-3610QM processor, 8GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GT630 graphics with 2GB video RAM. BenQ GW2250HM, GW2450HM and GW2750HM Full HD LED Displays for Japan

BenQ launches three new LED-backlit LCD monitors, the 21.5-inch GW2250HM, 24-inch GW2450HM and 27-inch GW2750HM. All of them are based on VA LCD panel with 1920×1080 resolution and uses LED backlight. The former two models offers 250cd/m2 brightness and the GW2750HM has 300cd/m2 brightness. They all hae 178/178-degree viewing angle, and 5000:1 typical contrast ratio and 20,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio.

BenQ’s monitors are equipped with Senseye3 imaging technology offering color management and enhancement and pre-set image modes. You can find D-sub, DVI-D and HDMI inputs. The GW2250HM, GW2450HM and GW2750HM are priced at 17,800 Yen, 22,800 Yen and 32,800 Yen, respectively.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Professional Ultrabook

Lenovo expands its ThinkPad Ultrabook lineup with the new X1 Carbon, which is the lightest 14-inch Ultrabook in the industry. By using carbon fiber rollcage, the X1 Carbon is a durable Ultrabook weighing less than 3 pounds. Instead of a 13-inch screen on the X1, the new Carbon laptop gets a bigger 14-inch 1600×900 LCD display with 300 nits of brightness.


The X1 Carbon is powered by choice of Intel’s Ivy Bridge 3rd gen Core processor. The notebook will come with integrated 3G connectivity, in addition to Bluetooth and WiFi. It features Dolby Home Theater for enhanced sound. It also includes Lenovo RapidCharge technology that will charge the battery to 80% in just 35 minutes. LG Optimus LTE2 Smartphone with 2GB RAM

LG is launching soon in Korea the new Optimus LTE2 Android smartphone. What the phone selling is its massive 2GB of RAM, the amount we can’t find on any other smartphones on the market. The LTE2 will have a True HD IPS touchscreen LCD display. It is equipped with a 2150mAh battery to provide 40% longer battery life than the Optimus LTE.

The Optimus LTE2 will be loaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Lenovo ThinkCentre M92z All-in-One PCs

In addition to the tiny ThinkCentre M92p, Lenovo is also bringing business users the ThinkCentre M92z all-in-one desktop PCs. The new M92z series will be available in 20-inch and 23-inch models. It is powered by up to Intel Ivy Bridge 3rd gen Core i7 processor, and can be equipped with up to 1TB hard drive or optional SSD.

The 23-inch M92z all-in-one, like the ThinkVision LT2323z monitor, is Microsoft Lync qualified. Built for business collaboration, it comes with a 23-inch IPS LED-backlit display with 178-degree wide viewing angle, and a built-in HD webcam for VoIP communications. A anti-glare feature with multi-touch capability is available as option. The M92z also includes Dolby Advanced sound enhancement and built-in WiFi connectivity.

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M92z starts at $799. It will be available in June.

Lenovo ThinkCentre M92p Tiny ‘Golf Ball-Wide’ Sized Desktop PC

Lenovo introduces a new compact size one-litre desktop PC that measures just the width of a golf ball (34.5 mm). The ThinkCentre M92p, nicknamed Tiny, is the industry’s first desktop in its size to feature Intel vPro technology. It is powered by up tp Intel Ivy Bridge 3rd gen Core i5 processor with integrated graphics, and features Intelligent Cooling Engine for cool and silent operation.

Lenovo will also release the lower-end ThinkCentre M72e tiny form factor desktop PC. Both M92p and M72e support WIFi connectivity and feature TPM Security Chip and RAID 0, 1 for enhanced data protection. They also come with Lenovo’s Enhanced Experience 3 for Windows 7 (EE3) to deliver a fast boot up that is 30% faster than non-optimized PCs.

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M92p Tiny starts at $799 and the ThinkCentre M72e at $499.

HP t410 All-in-One Smart Zero Client

HP introduces a new t410 All-in-one Smart Zero Client that features the new one-wire Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology. According to HP, the unit provides the performance of a PC on just 13 watts of power, and as it is powered over Ethernet connection there is no need for external power supply. With HP’s Smart Zero Technology, the client provides a no-touch, no management experience.  Citrix ICA 12 with HDX, RDP 7.1 with RemoteFX, VMware View with RDP and Teradici Optimized PCoIP protocols are supported. Once connected, the HP t410 AiO uses Auto-sensing Technology to locate the host server in the network

Asus unveils 3 new Intel Series 7 motherboards – Maximus V GENE, SABERTOOTH Z77, and the P8Z77-V

Intel’s next generation of silicone isn’t here yet, but that’s not stopping their hardware partners from unveiling the products that will house it – Asus has recently unveiled three new motherboards aimed at the Intel 7 Series line of processors – the Maximus V Gene, Sabertooth Z77 and the P8Z77-V. All three boards are packed to the brim with Asus features and technologies, which include their pioneering Dual Intelligent Processors 3 with SMART DIGI+ Power Control, a customizable fan control called Fan Xpert 2 and built-in WiFi through Asus Wi-Fi GO! Thanko SUSMDLC1 Palm-sized DSLR-shaped Camcorder

Japanese gadget maker Thanko launches a palm-sized video camera that comes in the shape of a DSLR camera. Equipped with a 1 Megapixel CMOS sensor, the ultra small camcorder can capture up to 12 Megapixel still images, and up to 1280x720p HD videos at 30fps. It has a 1.5-inch 480×240 LCD display on the back.

The Thanko SUSMDLC1 uses microSD for storage and supports up to 64GB cards. A 4GB can store up to 30 minutes of video footage. The DSLR-like camcorder will come with a car mount. The Thanko SUSMDLC1 is priced at 9980 Yen.
